Settings

This section provides an overview of the most critical setup tasks required for a successful Kapitalwise implementation. You should complete these steps immediately after purchasing Kapitalwise, or even while you’re still in your free trial mode. Completing these steps quickly means that you’ll get to start building out customer experience automation and marketing campaigns sooner, so you can get more leads in the door faster.

These are the important settings you need to have in place

If you’re setting up a new Kapitalwise account, learn how to create your account, invite your team, and customize your default settings.
  1. Organization Setup: You will start your Kapitalwise account set up by providing details about your Organization. We will be collecting basic details such as your business address, domain names, and campaign sending email addresses. Learn more about setting up your Organization.
  2. Add users: Users are people from your organization who will be using the Kapitalwise platform. Learn more about adding users to your account here.
  3. Tracking Setup: Kapitalwise allows you to track your customer interactions across different channels. Most of the content published, including the email campaigns, is tracked by default. This section includes setting up the Web analytics trackers and conversion trackers for webpages that you would want Kapitalwise to analyze. If you don't install this tracking code, you will not be able to take advantage of all of Kapitalwise's most valuable features. Learn more about Using Tags and Events to track customer interactions.
  4. Apps Setup: Kapitalwise allows you to connect your favorite apps with Kapitalwise. Learn more about connecting with your favorite apps.

Company Onboarding

This section contains the details needed for onboarding a company on Kapitalwise.

General Information

Basic Details.
  1. Name: Organization of your organization
  2. Address: Organization's HQ address
  3. City: Organization HQ city
  4. State: Organization HQ state
  5. Zip: Organization HQ Zip
  6. Contact Name: Organization contact name for correspondence, including billing
  7. Contact Telephone: Organization contact telephone for correspondence
  8. Contact Title: Organization contact title
  9. Email: Organization email for correspondence

Admin User

Details of your admin user on Kapitalwise. This user will have access to the entire Kapitalwise application.
  1. Name
  2. Email

Configurations

Some configuration settings are needed to set up your account.
  1. Campaign Email: The email from which campaigns will be sent
  2. SMS: Are you planning to send text messages (SMS) through the Kapitalwise platform?
  3. Subdomain under Kapitalwise: Your preferred subdomain under kapitalwise.net Eg. ourbank.kapitalwise.net
  4. Whitelist Domains: Provide the domains that you own and would like to whitelist for web tracking.
  5. Compliance Workflow: Enabling this flag will activate compliance review for email sending.
  6. IP Mapping: Do you want to configure user tracking through an IP address, if the user has denied cookies.
  7. Domain Setup for Emails: Add the CNAMEs provided by your relationship manager to your domain settings.

User Setup

Users are people from your organization who will be using the Kapitalwise platform. You can have multiple users on the platform and assign them with appropriate roles for the platform access and usage.

User Roles

With Kapitalwsise, you have a number of user logins at your disposal. These user roles can be assigned to organize and limit access to the Kapitalwise platform features.
  1. Admin: This is the administrator role. The user with this role has access to the whole platform including the ability to create, edit and delete other users. Consider this as a super user with all rights.
    Note: An organization must have at least one admin user.
  2. Designer: This role is for users who would work on designing Templates, and Campaigns. Users with this role would have access to Campaigns, Templates and Assets on Kapitalwise.
  3. Marketing: This role is for users who handle the marketing tasks of the company. Users with this role will have access to the complete platform excluding the ability to create, edit and delete other users.
  4. Sales: This role is for users who handle sales and lead management. Users with this role will have access to Dashboard, Sales, and Contacts.
  5. Developer: This role is for users who handle apps and integrations and work on creating workflows to automate customer engagement. Users with this role will have access to Templates, Apps and Engagement Builder on Kapitalwise.
  6. Compliance: This role is for compliance and managers who might want to review the content or an email campaigns before getting published. Compliance users have access to view, edit and approve/reject campaigns submitted for compliance review.

View/Edit a User

This functionality is accessible only to Admin Users.
Follow these steps to view or edit a user:
  1. Click on All Users under the ‘Users’ menu.

Add Users

Users are people from your organization who will be using the Kapitalwise platform. You can have multiple users on the platform and assign them with appropriate roles for the platform access and usage.

View/Edit a User

This functionality is accessible only to Admin Users.
Follow these steps to view or edit a user:
  1. Click on All Users under the ‘Users’ menu.
  2. You will see a list of all the users in the system.
  3. Toggle the status button to make a user active/inactive.
  4. Click on the edit icon to edit a user.
  5. Click ‘Save User’ when done.

Add a new User

Only Admin users can add new users to the system.
Follow these steps to add a new user:
  1. Go to All Users under the ‘Users’ menu.
  2. On the top-right, click on ‘New User’.
  3. Enter the name, email, phone, and role of the new user.
  4. Click ‘Save User’ once done.

Reset the login Password

If you want to reset your login password, please follow the steps below:
  1. On the Kapitalwise login page, click ‘Forgot Password’.
  2. Enter the Email address of the user.
  3. If you are a valid user, a password reset link will be sent to your email. Click on that link to complete the password reset process.

Apps Setup

Connect your favorite apps with Kapitalwise Engagement Builder and do more with your sales and marketing. Kapitalwise lets you integrate with a range of built-in as well as third-party apps. For example: if you are using Hubspot as CRM, you can integrate your account with Kapitalwise and create deals automatically from the Kapitalwise Workflows.

Deals

Kapitalwise Hubspot integration connects your Hubspot account with Kapitalwise. You can use Kapitalwise workflow to create deals automatically on Hubspot. Eg. create a wealth management prospect in Hubspot, when a customer receives a bonus payment.

How to install

To install the HubSpot app you need:
  1. API Key: We use this API key to connect to your HubSpot account via API. More details on how to find your HubSpot API Key.
  2. Pipeline Id: Deals pipeline for Kapitalwise generated deals. More details here.
  3. Hubspot Owner Id: Deal owner for the Kapitalwise generated deals.

Pipelines

If you already have a Salesforce account, you can integrate it with Kapitalwise. After installing, you can use our workflow to create opportunities automatically in Salesforce.

How to install

Before you begin installation, you need to create a connected app on your Salesforce account. You need to enable OAuth Settings for API Integration (Specifically JWT OAuth flow) on the connected app. Please refer to this resource for more details on the JWT OAuth flow.
To install the Salesforce app you need:
  1. Consumer key: Consumer key generated for your connected app. Please refer to this and this to get your consumer key.
  2. Username: Username of your Salesforce account.
  3. Private Key: The private key corresponds to the X509 Certificate that you uploaded while creating the connected app. Refer connected app.
  4. Owner Id: Deal owner for the Kapitalwise generated deals.
